Your baby’s first birthday is a milestone worth celebrating, and a Smash Cake Session is the perfect way to capture this special moment! These sessions are designed to be fun, stress-free, and filled with sweet memories.
For studio sessions, I offer a variety of beautiful backdrops to match your vision. The $250 booking fee includes:

Prints and matching digital files are purchased separately. All images are professionally printed on archival paper to ensure they last a lifetime.
Each session is thoughtfully designed and photographed by Pavlina Perry, a New Jersey portrait photographer.
HOW IT WORKS
Step 1: The Consultation
We’ll start with a Zoom consultation to personalize your baby’s session. We’ll go over:
✅ Cake preferences (colors, theme, and dietary needs)
✅ Backdrop selection
✅ Outfit suggestions
✅ Props and styling
✅ Any questions you may have about the process
Step 2: The Smash Cake Photoshoot
This is where the fun begins! Your session will last about an hour, and I provide:
🎂 The perfect cake for your little one to smash
🎈 Balloons & themed decorations
📸 A playful, relaxed environment to capture adorable moments
We’ll start with some classic portraits before the cake fun begins, so you’ll have a mix of beautiful milestone images!
Step 3: The Reveal & Ordering Session
2-3 weeks later, we’ll meet for your private reveal session where you’ll see your baby’s adorable photos. You’ll have the opportunity to:

🖼️ Select heirloom-quality prints and wall art
📱 Purchase matching digital files
You only invest in the images you absolutely love, and complimentary wall portrait design services are included!
